The Dodger Stadium Shows (1975)

Arguably the peak of his career, in 1975 Elton announced not one but two sell out shows at Los Angeles Dodger Stadium on October 25th and 26th. Having recently released his Goodbye Yellow Brick Road record the year before, now inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame and widely recognised as one of the greatest albums of all time, his suitably athletic appearance shows the songwriter in his prime.

Live at Princess Diana's Funeral (1997)

Awash with sorrow, the tragic death of Princess Diana caused the entire world to stop and reflect upon a life cut so sadly short. Close friend Elton re-worked his classic single “Candle In The Wind”, previously written to honour the life of actress Marilyn Monroe, as a tribute to his lost friend. Emotive and effecting, this funeral performance will be forever remembered by a grieving generation shocked by such a terrible accident.

BBC Radio 2 Live In Hyde Park (2016)

Just five years ago, Elton was invited by the BBC to play a stunning outdoor show which encompassed songs from right across his career to adoring fans. Although he was pushing 70, Elton had the entire audience electrified and it is just a glimpse of what you can expect on his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour.
