Combining huge doom riffs with a beautiful sense of melody; Hey Colossus are one of the most exciting and experimental British bands on the scene.

With the release of new album Dance / Curses last year, they are now free to tour and play dates in support of the phenomenal new material.

Hey Colossus are centred around childhood friends Robert Davies (guitar) and Joe Thompson (bass), plus Rhys Llewellyn (drums), Will Pearce (vocals\guitar), Chris Summerlin (guitar) and Paul Sykes (singer)

Giving hard rock and arty edge, Hey Colossus have long been a favourite for those that like to explore the outer fringes. Their renowned live performances of the London based band are matched by their prolific output, which has often seen them release multiple records in a single year ever since they formed in 2003, often via their own DIY label. Titles such as Hey Colossus Hates You, II, Project Death and Four Bibles have made them the choice band for truly alternative tastes.

Last year saw the release of their thirteenth (!) album Dance / Curses. Totally no fewer than fourteen tracks, the record is a rich tapestry of sound, embracing stoner rock, post rock, neo psychedelia and all manner of alternative guitar-based genres. Check out singles “U Cowboy” and “Stylites In Reverse” to get just a taste of the epic scale they have embarked upon in their latest work. Plus, their latest LP also boasts a guest appearance from nonother than Mark Lanegan, who lends his unique gravely voice for use on sombre song “The Mirror”.
