"Amazing, first metal concert and not the last!"

Mastodon, O2 Academy Brixton, London - 10th December 2017

There was a big queue but we went in quickly. I love that band and despite sitting on the circle, I could perfectly hear. Loved the visual animation.

"Enjoyed it but not my favourite"

Mastodon, Rock City, Nottingham - 5th December 2017

First time I have been to Rock City for 5 years or longer when I saw Porcupine Tree. Mastadon aren;t a particular favourite so hence the 3/5 but liked the venue (not been upstairs before) and plenty of bars though not easy to see if you aren't at the front. Will be back with a more suitable band

Mastodon, Rock City, Nottingham - 5th December 2017

The gig was great, apart from a few nutters in the crowd I had a great time. The support acts were really entertaining as well as the main act but that goes without saying.

Support bands great but main event was brilliantly performed.
Can’t wait to see them again.

GRAMMY® Award-nominated hard rock band Mastodon ponders the nature of time on their eighth full-length album, Emperor of Sand, on Reprise Bros. Records. Threading together the myth of a man sentenced to death in a majestically malevolent desert, the Atlanta, GA quartet Troy Sanders (bass/vocals), Brent Hinds (guitar/vocals), Bill Kelliher (guitars) and Brann Dailor (drums/vocals), and conjure the grains of a musical and lyrical odyssey slipping quickly through a cosmic hourglass.
