Ken Carson is one of Atlanta’s most exciting new voices, known for his melodic rap style, futuristic energy and fearless creativity. Having made music since he was thirteen, he first showed his promise with early tracks such as “Geeked Up”, before entering conversations with Playboi Carti and signing to OPIUM Records/Interscope in 2019. Through a run of EPs including Boy Barbie, Lost Files and Teen X, he began to shape a sound that blended sharp hooks with experimental flair. “Yale” quickly became a breakout moment, drawing millions of streams and establishing him as a rising force within a new wave of boundary-pushing rap.
The summer of 2021 marked a major turning point with the release of his full-length debut Project X, a record that broadened his style and showcased more lyrically driven, story-focused writing while still holding on to the hypnotic melodies he’s known for. The single “Rock N Roll” amplified the momentum with its psychedelic video and bold, high-octane style. Now deep into work on his next project, Ken Carson continues to evolve fast, leaning further into experimentation and giving fans a chance to grow with him as he pushes his sound into new territory.
