European Tour '26 Plus Helena Casella
Islington Assembly Hall, London
Doors at 19:00 | Ends: 23:00
Helena Casella is a Belgian-Brazilian singer and composer who grew up in a very musical family and now fronts her own band. Her sound brings together neo-soul, contemporary R&B, hip-hop and modern jazz, all coloured by the rhythms of Brazil and carried by a soft, warm voice that can shift from tender to powerful in a heartbeat. Her debut album Pit of Impressions (2025), released on Belgian label W.E.R.F. Records, marked her out as one of the most distinctive new voices on the Belgian scene and earned praise from jazz critics across Europe.
On stage, Helena and her band have built a reputation for infectious grooves and a real connection with the crowd. She has played Gent Jazz, Les Nuits Botanique and the Brussels Jazz Festival at home, as well as Into The Great Wide Open and Motel Mozaïque in the Netherlands. UK fans have caught her at Brick Lane Jazz Festival, where her set was one of the standouts of the day, and at The Jazz Cafe's Future Jazz Showcase in London. Expect intimate storytelling, rich organic arrangements and songs like "Imaginary Windows" that stay with you long after the last note.
The event is taking place at Islington Assembly Hall, London. See individual listings for full venue details.
