Industrial metal duo will be heading out on a headline UK tour this December to launch their forthcoming new record 'A World Lit Only By Fire'.
The influential group formed in 1988 with founding and consistent members Justin Broadrick (guitar, vocals, programming) and G.C. Green (bass). Godflesh originally went under the name of Fall of Because prior to 1988 and Godflesh remained active from 1988 until 2002 when the band disbanded following Green's departure, but Broadrick and Green revived Godflesh in 2010 and are currently performing and recording as Godflesh.
Since the band's formation Godflesh have released seven studio albums; 'Streetcleaner' (1989), 'Pure' (1992), 'Selfless' (1994), 'Songs of Love and Hate' (1996), 'Us and Them' (1999), 'Hymns' (2001), 'A World Lit Only by Fire' (2014).
During Godflesh's break, Broadrick formed post-metal band Jesu in 2003 with whom he released five albums; 'Jesu' (2004), 'Conqueror' (2007), 'Infinity' (2009), 'Ascension' (2011) and 'Everyday I Get Closer to the Light from Which I Came' (2013.
