Glass Animals are fast becoming a festival favourite having been included in the line-up at Glastonbury, Bestival, Coachella plus Leeds & Reading Festival. The indie rock band have built a loyal fan base from the good times and look set to become the next big thing.
The band is comprised of school friends drummer Joe Seaward, bassist Edmund Irwin-Singer and guitarist Drew MacFarlane sharing backing vocals with Dave Bayley on lead vocals and also playing guitar. The group have known each other since the age of fourteen but only formed the band after leaving school. They released the EP Leaflings but then put the band on hiatus whilst completing their degrees at University.
In 2013 the band met music producer Paul Epworth (Florence And The Machine, Bloc Party, Coldplay) and became the very first signing to his label Wolf Tone. They released their debut album Zaba in the following year. A huge hit, the album was streamed by listeners over 7 million times and reached #12 in the ARIA Charts.
Their upcoming new album will be titled How To Be A Human Being.
