Girlpuppy (aka Rebecca Alexis Harvey) is an indie rock musician hailing from Atlanta, Georgia. She began her musical journey in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, a time when many artists were finding new ways to express themselves creatively. In that same year, she signed to Royal Mountain Records and released her debut EP Swan on August 20, 2021. Produced by Marshall Vore, the EP established Girlpuppy as a fresh and exciting voice in indie rock with its emotive sound and introspective lyricism.
In 2022, Girlpuppy unveiled her debut full-length album When I'm Alone. The album showcased her ability to craft delicate, melancholic melodies that resonate with fans of artists like Phoebe Bridgers. In 2024, Girlpuppy signed to Captured Tracks and released Champ, the lead single from her sophomore album Sweetness, set to take her music to even greater heights.
