Latest information

From the Jam is led by bassist/singer Bruce Foxton, one of the original members of the immortal trio, The Jam. From The Jam continue the storied legacy of one of the most important British bands ever, with hits such as ‘Start’, ‘Town Called Malice’, ‘That’s Entertainment’, ‘In The City’, ‘Eton Rifles’, ‘Beat Surrender’ and ‘Going Underground’.

The Jam had amazing chart success with 18 singles and seven albums to make the Top 40 in the United Kingdom from their debut in 1977 to their break up in 1982. Their last five albums were all top ten hits and their last eight singles made it into the Top 10.

Formed in the early 1990’s, The Counterfeit Stones have successfully toured the globe nearly three decades, performing the most authentic celebration of The Rolling Stones in the world to sold-out audiences.

They’ve played most major countries in the world and been booked by multinationals, British Royalty, and some of the most famous international celebrities. Even Mick Jagger himself quoted The Counterfeit Stones as being, ‘The most famous Stones band in England’. They’ve shared stages with Joe Cocker, Iggy Pop, Blur, ZZ Top, Bryan Ferry, and many more.

Artist bio

From The Jam summon the intense drive and passion of the original punk rock mod band. Channelling the energy of the past three decades, From The Jam started in 2007 and continue to amaze all who see them. Bassist Bruce Foxton, original member of The Jam, takes charge of the vocals which he shares with guitarist and frontman Russell Hastings.

Foxton has been at the forefront of music since the punk explosion in the Summer of 1976 and he importance was highlighted when a poll of NME readers saw him ranked as the 7th Most Influential Bass Player. After The Jam split in 1982 he worked in seminal punk band Stiff Little Fingers for fifteen years and also embarked on a solo career which saw him release the hit single Freak. Foxton was also invited to work on Paul Weller’s recent smash album Wake The Nation.

Hastings is the only other front to have worked with original members of The Jam; drummer Rick Buckler, Bruce Foxton and Paul Weller. His unique experiences and expert vocal and guitar talent has earned the respect of fans making him the perfect person to carry forth the passion and power of the band’s perfect back catalogue.

Foxton is continuing to write and release original material. 2012 album Back In The Room was co-written with Hastings and is a must have record for true fans of The Jam. It also features the talents of Paul Weller.

Their latest album Smash The Clock was released after an extremely successful crowdfunding campaign. The record featured Wilko Johnson amongst other guests.

Fantastic Gig - Great sound

I went with my brothers and son. The gig was excellent and the sound quality was fantastic. They played Setting Sons faultlessly and add some of The Jam’s best music. Will definitely go see them again.
