Ebi Soda are a Brighton-born jazz-fusion collective whose sound bends and reshapes the boundaries of modern jazz. Known for blending the genre’s improvisational spirit with elements of hip-hop, funk, and electronic textures, their music carries both grit and playfulness. Emerging from the UK’s thriving jazz underground, the group have carved out a reputation as subversives of the scene, with their early lo-fi explorations evolving into something bolder and more expansive.
Their debut album Ugh (2020) and follow-up Honk If You’re Sad (2022) established their fearless approach, while their latest chapter written in a nine-bed farmhouse with new permanent member Dan Gray pushes that DIY ethos onto a bigger stage. The result is lawless, free-flowing jams infused with brass-driven energy, inventive beats, and a refusal to be confined by genre. Alongside headline shows and appearances at festivals like the London Jazz Festival, Ebi Soda have shared stages with artists including Alfa Mist and Nubya Garcia, continuing to cement their place at the forefront of the UK’s jazz vanguard.
Ticket prices may vary depending on venue and location. Full pricing details are available on each individual event page.
