David Olusoga is a British historian, broadcaster, and author, renowned for his work exploring themes of empire, race, and social history. Born in Nigeria and raised in the UK, Olusoga has become one of the leading voices in bringing forgotten histories to light, particularly regarding Black British history and the legacies of colonialism.
He is best known for his award-winning books, including Black and British: A Forgotten History (2016) and The World’s War: Forgotten Soldiers of Empire (2014), as well as his critically acclaimed television series, such as A House Through Time, Britain's Forgotten Slave Owners, and Black and British: A Forgotten History. A passionate and engaging speaker, Olusoga continues to challenge mainstream historical narratives, making complex and often overlooked histories accessible to a wide audience.
