Brighton rock band blending vintage ’60s- and ’70s-inspired swagger with contemporary indie energy and raucous live spirit.
If you'd like to be the first to know when new events are announced, you can follow Creeping Jean below.
Creeping Jean are a raucous rock band from Brighton whose music channels vintage rock ’n’ roll spirit through a modern, swaggering lens. They draw on classic influences from the ’60s and ’70s — from The Doors and Love through to glam-toned rock — shaping a sound that’s both nostalgic and immediate, with loose-limbed hooks, elastic grooves and a playful sense of attitude. Fronted by Oliver Tooze and built around a tight ensemble, their work often feels like a sun-soaked collision of seaside energy and ragged rock flair.
Their discography includes When’s the Blowout? (2022) and the follow-up Business Is Dead (2024), albums that mix youthful irreverence with infectious riffs and melodic drive. Tracks such as “The Clothes Shop” have entered the UK Physical Singles Chart, and the band have earned ongoing support from BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 Music and Radio X. Live, Creeping Jean have shared stages with acts such as Rival Sons on UK and European tour dates and appeared at festivals including Y Not, Tramlines and Truck, building a reputation for dynamic performances that bridge raw rock energy and retro swagger.
Ticket prices may vary depending on venue and location. Full pricing details are available on each individual event page.
