Chantel McGregor, 100 Club, London - 2nd February 2018
CHANTEL McGREGOR.... THE 100 Club, Friday February 2nd 2018.
Two smooth sets of blues rock from Cherilyn and Deep Blue Sea to begin were well executed with some fine moments from both bands. It was an enjoyable start to what promised to be a great evening ahead.
This was the tenth time I’ve seen Chantel with her band. Every one of those has been unique but The 100 Club gig was a powerhouse of raw energy that was truly epic. Bandmates, Colin Sutton on Bass and Ollie Goss on Drums cannot be described as a mere ‘rhythm section’ as that term is hardly adequate and diminishes their role. On Friday night they were producing the brutal sound of heavy industry, forging the component parts for the shiny finished article from Chantel. It was a privilege to be there to see that highly polished performance in the making. Chantel as ever was on top form and she lived up to her reputation for consistent high quality rock and effortless virtuosity.
Note to self... (and everyone else too) ...........get tickets for more of her gigs IMMEDIATELY !

Chantel McGregor, Warehouse 23, Wakefield - 17th August 2018
This was an excellent show, obviously with Chantel's superb guitar playing and catchy blues orientated hard rock material as the main focus of the evening. It's great to see someone local (in this case from Bradford) getting plenty of gigs and building up their following on a progressively larger stage and to see someone who doesn't need to pander to the latest fads & trends to be successful.

Chantel McGregor, The Flowerpot, Derby - 14th December 2017
Even suffering the back end of her cold Chantel put on a brilliant performance and looked gorgeus.
She started with a accoustic session on her own and drew the audiance in by queitly talking the audiance between songs giving a intermet feel to the first part of the evening.
She then intoduce oliver on bass and paul on drums and we all took off on an electric flight for the rest of the evening with Chantel at the controls. The crowd love it and supported through the rest of the performance.
Afterwards she sign CDs and talked to her fans in a very relaxed manner.
A very rememberle night out, i will be there next time McGregor,s back in town. Well worth the admission price of £14

Chantel McGregor is a great singer and superb guitarist. She deserves to be a far bigger star than she is. Great rapport with fans. She's very down to earth and was chatting to the fans in the bar before the gig and happily posing for photographs. The band played a blistering set. Can't wait for the new cd in the Spring. The Flowerpot is a wonderful, intimate venue too.

Chantel McGregor, O2 ABC2 Glasgow, Glasgow - 22nd October 2017
Was at Chantelle Magregor's gig 2 years ago. She was a very good singer and guitar player. Two years later she has become an exceptional singer as well as a powerful guitarist. Her performance is maturing beautifully. It's a shame the was so few people at the gig, but if her performances continue to get better and better, surely her fan base must increase.
