Barefoot, once a monthly vinyl night for over a decade down the local pub in the West End of Lincoln that hosted some of the best DJs and collectors locally and from across the UK & Globe, each playing 30 minutes of the music they truly love. Those ten years are well documented and beautifully archived by local photographer, David Nicholson, on the event’s Facebook page along with attendees’s videos & superb memories.
2026 has opened the door to new possibilities and experiences so much so that Barefoot is only featuring on a select few dates in a select few, bigger, venues - more space for dancing!
Although we have moved home, our nights are still host to a curated collection of selectors where we never know what's going to be played next; a unique experience.
We have an absolutely 'all inclusive - leave your egos at the door - no nonsense' approach.
The only rule; the decks are for you to play your passion - it’s not about the floor but what you want to play.
From classics to unearthed gems, the music still changes every 30 minutes. The best therapy money cannot buy!

Our roots and outreach grew considerably during lockdown as we broadcast & streamed the event every month, keeping our community together. Now, our Mixcloud account has over 500 eclectic playlists used by so many establishments across the globe.
