Alison Krauss along with Union Station band members Dan Tyminski (guitar, mandolin and lead vocals), Barry Bales (bass, harmony vocals), Ron Block (banjo, guitar and harmony vocals) and Jerry Douglas (dobro and harmony vocals) play two concerts in the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival on Sat 12 and Sun 13 November as the climax of a short national tour which also sees them playing Birmingham, Belfast, Dublin, Glasgow and Gateshead.
Her most recent triumph was Raising Sand, her fabulous collaboration with Robert Plant, and she’s received plaudits for her new album Paper Airplane on Rounder, which is her first new album with her band Union Station since Lonely Runs Both Ways in 2004
