About Yuuf

Yuuf are a London-based instrumental band comprising musicians from four different countries: Anthony Boatright (England) on bass, Hugo Cottu (France) on guitar, Oliver Overgaard (Denmark) on drums, and Andrin Haag (Switzerland) on handpan and percussion. Their music blends elements of Motown, West African rhythms, and ambient textures, drawing inspiration from artists like Khruangbin, Donnie and Joe Emerson, and Mac DeMarco.

In June 2024, they released their debut EP, In The Sun, under the Blik Flak label. The lead single, "Silky Spring," received airplay on major radio stations, helping them reach a wider audience. Their music has been described as a genre-bending instrumental journey, where warm and joyful guitar tones meet subtle handpan, delicate bass lines, and soft-focus drum fills. With a growing fanbase and a reputation for crafting immersive, sun-soaked soundscapes, Yuuf continue to establish themselves as a standout name in the instrumental music scene.
