Directions by car

The Castle is in the heart of Ludlow. There is no parking at the castle, but the nearest public car park is just a minute’s walk away, with other car parks around 5 minutes away. Travelling from the north or south, Ludlow is to be found just off the A49. From the West Midlands, leave the M5 at Junction 3 and head west on the A456 through Kidderminster and Tenbury Wells to the A49. Turn right and follow signs for Ludlow.

Directions by bus

Buses operated by Minsterley Motors run around Ludlow town (from the Park and Ride off the A49 Sheet roundabout), and from Shrewsbury, Pontesbury and Knighton. The nearest bus stop is at Ludlow Assembly Rooms at the top of Mill Street.

Directions by rail/tube

Ludlow is on the Welsh Marches line with regular direct access from North Wales, Crewe and South Wales. The castle is approximately a quarter of a mile from the railway station.

Terrain


Ludlow Castle is an outdoor greenfield site set in stunning medieval grandeur. Attendees will need to travel across grassy terrain to access the viewing platforms and all other areas of the event. Should we experience rain in the run-up to the events or on the day of events the terrain could become muddy and harder to navigate, please come prepared for such conditions.
