Unto Others are an American gothic metal band known for their dark, atmospheric sound that blends heavy metal with post-punk and traditional gothic influences. Formed in 2008 under the name Idle Hands, they rebranded to Unto Others in 2019 to mark a new chapter in their evolution. Their album Strength (2021) received widespread acclaim, showcasing their ability to craft haunting melodies alongside powerful, guitar-driven riffs. Their unique sound has earned them a loyal following in the metal and rock communities.
The band’s energetic and captivating live performances have seen them take the stage at key UK venues and festivals, including Download Festival and Damnation Festival. Having supported bands like Tribulation and Alcest, Unto Others continue to build their reputation as one of the most exciting acts in the modern gothic metal scene.
