Two Door Cinema Club are anthemic indie-pop innovators from Bangor, County Down, whose energetic blend of dance-punk rhythms and infectious hooks has made them one of the most recognisable British bands of the 21st century. Formed in 2007 by Alex Trimble (vocals, rhythm guitar, keys, drums), Sam Halliday (lead guitar, synths) and Kevin Baird (bass), the trio first captured attention with Tourist History (2010) — a debut packed with festival-ready tracks such as “What You Know” and “Something Good Can Work”.
Since then, Two Door Cinema Club have continued to evolve across albums Beacon (2012), Gameshow (2016), False Alarm (2019) and Keep On Smiling (2022), refining a sound that bridges indie guitar pop with glossy synth textures and euphoric dance energy. Their live shows are famed for their feel-good atmosphere and seamless musicianship, drawing crowds across the globe. Confident, charismatic and constantly forward-moving, Two Door Cinema Club remain a cornerstone of modern indie music — a band built on rhythm, melody and unshakable optimism.
