They nailed it

When I bought the tickets my son and I had already seen the real TOOL performance in Manchester. We went along to The Robin with open minds and in support of live music. We were both sceptical about TOOL SHED thinking how can anyone do this justice. How wrong we were, how very, very wrong. TOOL SHED were bloody brilliant. Nailed the sound 100%. Worked really hard for us in the audience. So here’s Mr. Cynical listening to the opening bars of Pneuma still thinking jeez this is brave and how’s the drummer going to deal with Danny Carey’s time signatures and polyrhythms. Should not have worried the drummer nailed it, absolutely nailed it. Hats off, kudos and much respect to a band that were brilliant, fastidious in their attention to detail and so very accomplished and generous with the duration of the show. Finally I hope James gets his hands on a Gibson Adam Jones guitar. FIVE STARS
