The Small Fortunes are a four�'piece rock band from Manchester, formed in March 2023 by Louis James and Louis Menguy, later joined by Liam Clarke (bass) and Chris Bloor (drums). Born from a mutual love of blues and Americana, they recorded their debut album with producer David Radahd�'Jones at Red City studios in Manchester, then honed their live craft in Liverpool. Their debut single, “Love Is Not Enough,” released in July 2024, marked their arrival with an energetic blend of country-rock storytelling and driving rhythm. The band sold out their first-ever show in Manchester in December 2023 and followed up with further sold-out dates in Manchester and London throughout 2024, all while building a rapidly growing online fan base.
Since then, The Small Fortunes have continued to build momentum with follow�'up singles like “Rolling With The Thunder” and “Time’s No Friend Of Mine”, and headline shows at venues such as Gorilla in Manchester. Their engaging songwriting, warm harmonies and powerful live energy have begun to establish them as one of the UK’s most exciting emerging rock acts.
