The Sisters of Murphy

For nearly three decades, The Sisters of Murphy, (The Smurphs to their friends) have been channelling the brooding power, menace, and majesty of The Sisters of Mercy with unwavering dedication and a distinctly authentic flair. Founded in 1997, long before the tribute scene became a trend, The Sisters of Murphy have carved out a reputation as one of the longest-running and most respected tributes on the UK alternative circuit.

This is no mere imitation. The Sisters of Murphy embody the essence of Eldritch & Co by capturing the raw atmosphere, sardonic edge, and dark romanticism that defines The Sisters of Mercy’s legacy. Their performances are electric, immersive, and steeped in reverence without ever descending into parody.

With a setlist that dives deep into the band’s vast and shadowy catalogue, The Sisters of Murphy deliver a full-force celebration of gothic rock’s most enigmatic icons.

From packed clubs to sprawling goth festivals, The Sisters of Murphy continue to draw passionate crowds across the UK and beyond, proving that some things never go out of fashion, especially when dressed in black
