Formed in Melbourne in 2009, The Paper Kites are an Australian five-piece known for their tender blend of indie rock and folk-rock, fronted by Sam Bentley and Christina Lacy, alongside David Powys, Josh Bentley and Sam Rasmussen. They first captured hearts with the atmospheric single “Bloom” (2010), which went on to be certified platinum in multiple countries including the US and Canada. Their beautifully layered sound has evolved over six studio albums—with At the Roadhouse (2023) being their most recent—progressing from early folk intimacy to richly textured storytelling, while maintaining their hallmark harmonies and emotional resonance.
With over a billion streams and sell-out tours across Australia, North America, Europe and beyond, The Paper Kites have become global torchbearers for heartfelt songwriting and ethereal soundscapes. Their albums Roses (2021) and At the Roadhouse both showcase their versatility—from the collaborative, duet-driven intimacy of Roses to the immersive Americana warmth of At the Roadhouse, inspired by their residency in regional Victoria.
Ticket prices may vary depending on venue and location. Full pricing details are available on each individual event page.
