About The Hardkiss

The Hardkiss are a Ukrainian rock band formed in Kyiv in 2011, known for their unique blend of progressive pop, rock, and electronic music. The group was founded by lead vocalist Julia Sanina and guitarist Valeriy "Val" Bebko, who also serves as the band's creative producer. Over the years, the lineup has evolved, with current members including bassist Klym Lysiuk and drummer Yevhen Kibeliev. The band's music is characterized by its fusion of rock elements with electronic and pop influences, creating a distinctive sound that has resonated with audiences both in Ukraine and internationally.

The Hardkiss gained significant recognition in 2016 when they participated in the Ukrainian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest with their song "Helpless," finishing second in the final. Their discography includes several albums and EPs, such as Stones and Honey (2014), Cold Altair (2015), Perfection Is a Lie (2017), �-алізна ластівка (2018), and Жива і не залізна (2021). In 2025, the band released singles "Crush" and "Tenderness," signaling their ongoing evolution and commitment to producing innovative music. Beyond their musical achievements, The Hardkiss are also known for their distinctive fashion style and visually striking music videos, which have contributed to their reputation as one of Ukraine's most prominent and original musical acts.
