The Everly Pregnant Brothers
The Birdwell Venue, Barnsley
Doors at 19:00
Born out of a drunken dare between Sheffield artist Pete McKee and Richard 'Bails' Bailey in 2009, The Everly Pregnant Brothers soon grew into a full band of like-minded chaps united by a love of beer, ukuleles and a good laugh. Their speciality is taking well-known songs and giving them a gloriously daft, distinctly Sheffield twist. Coldplay's "Yellow" became "Hendo's", a tribute to the city's beloved Henderson's Relish, while The Waterboys' "The Whole of the Moon" turned into "Oyl Int Ruwad", a nod to the much-missed Hole in the Road. They even teamed up with South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue on "Me Chip Pan's On Fire", a safety-minded spin on Kings of Leon's "Sex on Fire".
Hometown heroes with a fiercely loyal following, the Brothers have played big sell-out shows in Sheffield and appeared at the city's Tramlines festival, as well as taking their act to venues around the country. Expect singalong favourites, new material, plenty of cheeky digs at their South Yorkshire neighbours and a room full of people belting out every word. It's a proper feel-good night out.
The event is taking place at The Birdwell Venue, Barnsley. See individual listings for full venue details.
Tickets go on sale on Thursday 22nd October 2026 at 10:00am.
