The Dreggs are an indieâ€'folk duo from the Sunshine Coast, Australia, made up of Paddy Macrae and Zane Harris. They first emerged in 2017, releasing their debut single “Give Myself to You”, and followed that with the Seas Embrace EP (2018). Their music blends acoustic folk with singerâ€'songwriter warmth, often inspired by ocean imagery, coastal light and the rhythms of home.
Their debut album Caught in a Reverie (2024) marked a step up in scope, and was supported by singles like “For Your Love”, “Take a Little Time”, “Places” and “Peeps With The Goods”. In 2025, they released The Art of Uncommon Practise (2025), further expanding their sound with intricate melodies and thoughtful lyricism. They’ve toured Australia, New Zealand and the UK/EU, and played major festivals including Spilt Milk. Their live shows are heartfelt, intimate but capable of growing into grand singâ€'alongs that bring large crowds in close.
