The Buoys are one of Australia's most electrifying live bands, a Sydney four-piece whose fiery, guitar-driven indie rock has already won over crowds across the UK and Europe.
Formed in Sydney in 2016, The Buoys have grown into one of Australia's most exciting live bands — a four-piece built on razor-sharp songwriting and the kind of full-throttle, cathartic shows that leave everything on the stage. Fronted by Zoe Catterall on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, alongside Hilary Geddes, Tess Wilkin and Courtney Cunningham, they trade in punchy riffs, soaring hooks and a raw, heart-on-sleeve honesty that nods to the best of '90s guitar rock.
Their debut album, Lustre (2024), announced them as a serious force, debuting at number seven on the ARIA Albums Chart, earning triple j Featured Album status and a nomination for Australian Album of the Year. They've since carried their high-energy set well beyond home, showcasing at Brighton's Great Escape, supporting Vacations on tour and playing their own headline dates across the UK and Europe. Whether on record or in a packed room, The Buoys deliver the sort of live show that has become their calling card.
