HMV Empire Coventry is proud to welcome legendary 2-Tone pioneers The bEAT, led by original vocalist Dave Wakeling, as they launch their highly anticipated Dance Crazed Too UK Tour on Thursday 1st October 2026.

Returning to the birthplace of 2-Tone, Coventry will host the opening night of this 21-date UK tour, celebrating one of Britain’s most influential musical movements.

Joining The bEAT on this incredible tour are fellow 2-Tone icons The Selecter, fronted by the legendary Pauline Black, alongside a special DJ set from Rhoda Dakar, making this an unforgettable evening for fans of ska, reggae and classic British music.

Dave Wakeling said:

"Unfortunately, Doug Trendle, the much-loved frontman of Bad Manners, won't be match fit in time to join the tour this autumn. However, we hope to be able to work together again in the future. In the meantime, we are thrilled that Pauline and The Selecter will be joining us for this two-tone extravaganza."
