Stampin' Ground are a British metalcore band from Cheltenham, England, formed in 1995. Known for their aggressive fusion of groove metal and hardcore punk, they drew inspiration from bands like Slayer, Earth Crisis, and Snapcase. Their discography includes notable albums such as Demons Run Amok (1997), An Expression of Repressed Violence (1998), and Carved from Empty Words (2000). The band gained recognition for their intense live performances and toured extensively across the UK, Europe, and the United States, sharing stages with acts like Agnostic Front, Sick of It All, and Chimaira.
After disbanding in 2006, Stampin' Ground reunited in 2014 and performed at the Sonisphere Festival. In December 2024, they announced plans to perform at the 2025 Damnation Festival, celebrating the 25th anniversary of their album Carved from Empty Words. The current lineup includes Scott Atkins (guitar), Adam Frakes-Sime (vocals), Neil Hutton (drums), Ben Frost (bass), and Paul Fletcher (guitar).
