Spike Fuck is an Australian musician from Melbourne, known for her genre-defying sound she describes as “smackwave”—a fusion of late 1980s new wave, late 1970s post-punk, and country/singer-songwriter elements, delivered with a Las Vegas ballroom karaoke vocal style. Her music often explores themes of love, obsession, addiction, sexual disorientation, and Catholic guilt.
She began performing under the name Spike Fuck in 2015, gaining attention with her debut EP The Smackwave EP in 2016, which she later re-released in 2019. In 2017, she released the country-influenced single “Greatest Hits (Suicide Party)” featuring Graham “Evil” Lee of The Triffids. In 2020, she collaborated with Melbourne band The Slingers on the duet “Kind Hearts.” After a hiatus, Spike Fuck returned in 2025 with her first full-length release, Eternity in Time and The Other Right Hand of the Lord, marking a more transcendent and experimental phase in her music.
