Cacao Ceremony with Shannon Pearl 5-7pm

Take time to pause, reconnect and slow down this winter.

Join neo-folk artist and Sacred Sound Carrier Shannon Pearl for a deeply relaxing and intimate Cacao Ceremony at Langley Tracks.

Settle into our cosy, carefully curated space in the old station waiting room and enjoy a cup of ceremonial cacao - a rich and grounding drink traditionally used to encourage connection, reflection and presence.

The ceremony will begin with gentle intention setting, followed by meditation and a beautiful sound healing experience. Shannon will use her drum and move gently around the outside of the group, creating an immersive soundscape and allowing the vibrations of the drum to move through the space.

There will be plenty of time to arrive, settle in and acclimatise to the surroundings before the ceremony, as well as time afterwards to simply sit, relax and take in the experience. Relaxation is key, so there is no need to rush in or out.

This is an opportunity to step away from the busyness of everyday life, slow down and reconnect with yourself and those around you.

About Shannon Pearl

Shannon Pearl is a neo-folk/witch-pop artist from the North East of England. Trained as a Priestess and named a Sacred Sound Carrier on the Isle of Avalon, her spellbinding music has been described as haunting and ethereal, often leaving audiences bewitched.

Taking inspiration from folklore, ancient tradition and nature, Shannon's music and storytelling takes audiences deep into the realms of the unknown. Alongside her work as an artist, Shannon draws on nature and her pagan spirituality to interweave healing frequencies with sound, offering spiritual workshops for those who feel called to explore healing energy and vibration.

Shannon regularly hosts ceremonies and events at The Glasshouse in Gateshead, as well as performing and leading workshops across the North East.
