Since 2009, Samantha Fish has been an established voice in the contemporary blues scene.
After the release of her 2013 album Black Wind Howlin', Fish has since garnered a reputation for her prowess as a live performer, guitar mastery and honeysweet vocals. Her hometown newspaper, The Kansas City Star, noted that 'she has kicked down the door of the patriarchal blues club' and that she 'exhibits more imagination and creativity than some blues veterans exhibit over the course of their careers'.
Fish's 2025 album Paper Doll is celebrated for its' bold, dynamic and fun sound, with the seamless blend of blues, rock and soul.
