About Romare

Romare is the stage name of Archie Fairhurst, a British electronic music producer and DJ known for his unique blend of deep house, jazz, soul, and world music influences. Drawing inspiration from a wide range of genres, Romare's music is marked by its intricate samples, rhythmic innovation, and atmospheric textures, creating a rich, immersive listening experience.

Romare first gained attention with the release of his debut album, Projections (2015), which was well-received for its distinctive sound that blended electronic beats with an eclectic mix of samples, ranging from old soul records to African rhythms. Tracks like “Motherless Child” and “The Blues” established his signature style—combining introspective melodies with vibrant, groove-heavy rhythms. His follow-up albums, Love Songs: Part One (2017) and Home (2019), continued to explore his fascination with texture and rhythm, with Home delving even deeper into his roots of jazz, soul, and funk while maintaining his electronic edge.
