Radio Free Alice are a rising post-punk and indie-rock band from Naarm (Melbourne), Australia, formed in 2020. Drawing inspiration from ‘80s icons such as The Cure, The Smiths, Talking Heads and early New Order, while also nodding to contemporary indie sounds, their music balances nostalgic textures with energetic, modern punch. Their lyrics explore themes of youth, social inertia, emotion and longing, set against arrangements that shift seamlessly between urgency and introspection.
In early 2025, Radio Free Alice released the single “Empty Words,” created during downtime between shows and reflecting on social stagnation. The track exemplifies their evolving sound and growing international profile, attracting attention in the UK and US and paving the way for further touring abroad. With their mix of post-punk flair and indie-rock sensibility, the band continues to establish themselves as one of Australia’s most exciting emerging acts.
Ticket prices may vary depending on venue and location. Full pricing details are available on each individual event page.
