Old-school Welsh hard rock from the family band founded by Motörhead guitarist Phil Campbell and his three sons.
Formed in 2016 in South Wales, Phil Campbell's Bastard Sons began as a true family affair — Motörhead guitarist Phil Campbell playing alongside his three sons, Todd, Dane and Tyla. After launching with a self-titled EP, they made their mark with debut album The Age of Absurdity (2018), which was named Best Debut Album at Germany's Metal Hammer Awards. Two more records followed on Nuclear Blast, We're the Bastards (2020) and Kings of the Asylum (2023), building a sound steeped in raw, no-nonsense rock 'n' roll.
They quickly earned a reputation as a ferocious live band, sharing stages with Guns N' Roses and Saxon and tearing up festivals including Wacken Open Air and Download. Following Phil's death in 2026, the band carries his legacy forward, driven by the same family bond and the raucous, big-hearted rock 'n' roll he built his name on. Expect a set that's heavy, spirited and made to be played at full volume.
