Latest information

A defiant guitar band, a Peace concert is a heady mash-up of 90’s rock ‘n’ roll and sun-soaked pop; a sound that is already winning them legions of fans. You can buy Peace tickets before they sell out, right here at Gigantic.

With three albums under their belt, Peace have established themselves as one of the UK’s hottest bands. Make sure you catch them when they play an unmissable gig at O2 Institute Birmingham on Saturday 24th of November 2018.

The perfect antidote to the glossy artists of the 21st Century, Peace are a modern bad, with old-school attitude. You won’t find chiselled good-looks or gymnastic vocals, here: the band members are refreshingly unkempt and rely on their own musical excellence to create a sound that draws on a number of influences including The Clash, The Stone Roses and Suede.

Peace might be relative newcomers, but they have an attitude and musicianship that belies the fact that they are just stepping out. Hailing from Worcester, the band formed in 2010 and released their first track ‘Bblood’ online in 2012. In very short order, they were put on NME’s ‘Ones to Watch’ list and the Guardian newspaper nailed them to the mast as “the future of indie”.

There’s no doubting the band’s musical abilities, but the ace up their collective sleeve must be their front man, Harrison Koisser. Koisser’s voice is pure enough to push pop if he wanted to, but he works its grittier aspects to add a certain melancholic sneer to his lyrics. But, as well as sounding like an indie rock star, Koisser packs enough laid-back swagger to fuel a number of rock bands. Live, he’s as charismatic as he is louche, reminiscent of Liam Gallagher in his heyday or Primal Scream’s Bobbly Gillespie.

If you know their work, you’ll find plenty of hits to sing along to. With only two albums behind them, there are likely to be some much-loved album tracks thrown into the mix, such as ‘Lost on Me’ and ‘Bloodshake’. It’s testament to what they do that eve the less well-known songs whip the audience up into a frenzy, whether it be as a sea of swaying arms or through the strobe-light flash of phone cameras.

With only limited supplies of Peace concert tickets being made available you cannot hang around as they will go quickly and you do not want to be disappointed. Artist bio

Peace are an English indie rock quartet, formed in Worcester. The band consists of brothers Harry and Samuel Koisser, Douglas Castle and Dominic Boyce.

The buzz around Peace began in 2012 when the band started getting picked up by national publications like the NME, but it wasn't until the release of their single "Follow Baby" in April 2012 that the group managed to land a record deal with Columbia Records. Peace's debut record on the label was their EP 'Delicious', which hit stores at the back end of 2012. The success of the EP helped the band begin to build a formidable following and after being nominated for BBC's Sound of 2013 the group were a band on everyone's lips. Their debut album 'In Love' was released in March 2013 to critical and commercial success, making its way into many Album of 2013 lists.
