Brand new festival, Paint By Numbers, has today announced its inaugural edition this December.
Paint By Numbers is an exciting new one-day music event celebrating the most vital emerging sounds in the UK’s alternative scene. In partnership with DORK, the festival will debut at Thekla in Bristol on Saturday 6th December 2025 and at The Bodega in Nottingham on Sunday 7th December 2025, each edition showcasing a hand-picked line-up of boundary-pushing artists across two stages.
Among the latest additions are London duo Just For Fun, whose nostalgic collision of DIY aesthetics and electronic pop evokes the playfulness of MGMT and Hadouken, and Sandhouse, a South London pair blending 60s-psych and 90s-rock with atmospheric intensity. They’re joined by Marvin’s Revenge, Nottingham’s electrifying alt-rockers known for blistering live sets at festivals including Tramlines and Y Not, and M/X, a Bristol queer-punk trio whose raw energy and fierce spirit channel the likes of IDLES and Soft Play. Alongside previously announced acts Porij, Bloodworm and My First Time, Paint By Numbers promises an unmissable celebration of fearless creativity and forward-thinking new music.
