Of Monsters & Men are an Icelandic indie folk-rock band whose enchanting sound blends lush harmonies, evocative storytelling and captivating melodies. Formed in Reykjavík in 2010 after winning the Músíktilraunir battle of the bands, they swiftly introduced themselves with the EP Into the Woods and the debut album My Head Is an Animal (2011), whose chart-topping single “Little Talks” propelled them to international recognition. Their second album, Beneath the Skin (released 8 June 2015), entered the UK Albums Chart at number ten and further cemented their reputation for gripping, nature-infused indie folk.
The band have enchanted UK audiences at renowned festivals such as Glastonbury and Latitude, and played headline shows at iconic London venues like Shepherd’s Bush Empire in 2013 and Eventim Apollo in 2019, each delivered with magical energy and heartfelt performance.
