Ocean Grove are an Australian nu-metal band, combining the classic, 90's nu-metal energy with their own vibrant twist.
Formed in Melbourne in 2010, the trio, consisting of Dale Tanner, Sam Bassal and Twiggy Hunter, they pioneer an eclectic genre-fluid style that they dub "Odd World Music", and fuse together nu-metal, hardcore punk, hip-hop and electronic beats.
Their pivotal turning point arrived in 2015, with their second EP, Black Label, which caught the attention of the Australian heavy music scene. Signing with prominent independent record label UNFD, their debut full-length album The Rhapsody Tapes (2017) received praise for its fearless experimentation, and drew comparisons to Korn, Limp Bizkit and Faith No More.
They released their fourth studio album, Oddworld, in late 2024. The record served as a heavy, nostalgic return to their roots, blending all of their past eras into a definitive realisation of their self-made genre.
