No Cigar are a five-piece indie rock band from Aotearoa New Zealand known for their energetic sound and infectious guitar-driven songwriting. Blending indie, alternative and surf-tinged influences, the band have built a strong international following through their melodic hooks, laid-back groove and engaging live performances.
Their albums include Bienvenido (2022), The Great Escape (2023) and Under The Surface (2025), each showcasing their evolving sound and knack for crafting uplifting, anthemic tracks. Formed by Willy Ferrier (lead vocals), Josh Morrice (guitar, backing vocals), Arthur Gillies (guitar, backing vocals), Sam Benson (bass) and Ned Gow (drums), No Cigar continue to grow their global audience with a sound that captures both the spirit of New Zealand indie and the excitement of modern alternative rock.
