Stand-up comedian Nish Kumar is one of the UK’s most recognisable political comics, known for his sharp wit, energetic delivery and fearless approach to satire. He rose to prominence as the host of The Mash Report, now titled Late Night Mash, where his incisive monologues and interviews dissected the week’s news with urgency and humour. Kumar’s comedy blends personal storytelling with pointed social commentary, earning him a reputation as a bold and engaging voice on the British comedy circuit.
Beyond television, Kumar has built a diverse broadcasting career across radio, podcasts and live performance. He presents Joel & Nish vs The World and co-hosts the political podcast Pod Save the UK. His previous work includes hosting Newsjack on BBC Radio 4 Extra, The News Quiz on BBC Radio 4 and Hello America for Quibi.
