London indie-folk quartet blending heartfelt songwriting with shimmering guitars and alt-rock ambition.
The London-based four-piece Night Flight formed in 2017 around singer-songwriter Sam Holmes, with Harry Phillips, Dan Webb and Oliver Halvorsen completing the line-up. They craft a sound rooted in melodic indie-folk and alternative rock, marked by contemplative lyrics, joyful melodies and guitar textures that range from glassy to jagged.
Their self-titled debut album Night Flight (debut album) was released in December 2018. They followed this with the EP White Noise EP, mixed by Phil Ek, and more recently the full-length Songs From Echo Zoo (2023). On stage they have played venues and festivals across the UK, including headline shows at London’s Jazz Café and appearances at festivals such as Deer Shed Festival. Night Flight are a warmly earnest band whose songwriting ambition meets expansive instrumentation, offering rich indie-folk soundscapes with an alternative edge.
