Nick Offerman rose to international prominence as the gruff but lovable Ron Swanson on NBC’s Parks & Recreation, receiving the Television Critics Association Award for Individual Achievement in Comedy. He was also cast in the second series of Fargo, receiving a nomination for the Critics' Choice Television Award. He also appeared and was an executive producer in The House Of Tomorrow.

More recently, Offerman played the role of Bill in the television adaptation of Naughty Dog’s masterpiece post-apocalyptic action game The Last Of Us. Starring in just one episode Long Long Time, it was considered a landmark moment in television for its beautiful yet tragic tale of a gay romance.

Offerman has also written five books, including Paddle Your Own Canoe, Gumption, Good Clean Fun, The Greatest Love Story Ever Told and his latest title Where the Deer and the Antelope Play: The Pastoral Observations of One Ignorant American Who Loves to Walk Outside.

When he isn’t starring on screen or penning another New York Times best-seller, Offerman busies himself in his own wood shop, handcrafting beautiful items great and small such as ukuleles and canoes. He has even released his own instruction DVD titled Fine Woodstrip Canoe Building.
