Australian heavy metal doesn’t get any better than Airbourne! Taking off in 2001, the band was formed by brothers Joel (lead guitar + vocals) and Ryan O’Keeffe (drums) plus rhythm guitarist David Roads. Airbourne would go on to change the direction of 21st century rock.

Their impact was immediate, with debut album Runnin' Wild smashing into the Top 30 of the ARIA Albums Chart, finding dedicated listeners around the world and reaching Silver certification here in the U.K. They would continue to rise with second record No Guts. No Glory. which saw major sales in the U.S., whilst latest L.P. Boneshaker hit a high of No. 3 in the German charts.

Ready to release their next record, Airbourne land in the U.K. in July for a promotional tour which sees Blue Pills play support. CLICK HERE to get your tickets!

This summer also sees Airbourne headline the mighty Steelhouse Festival alongside Kentucky hard rockers Black Stone Cherry! The perfect weekend for anyone who likes it loud, hard, and heavy; other killer acts include Elegant Weapons, Those Damn Crows, The Answer, Ginger Wildheart & The Sinners, Kris Barras Band, plus many more international superstars!

Steelhouse Festival hits Hafod-Y-Dafal Farm, Ebbw Vale from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th of July, and tickets can be booked with Gigantic HERE!

Check out our favourite Airbourne tracks that we’re dying to hear live this summer in the latest of our Play The Hits series…

"Runnin' Wild"

Their first major success! Lead single and title track of the debut album "Runnin' Wild" is a no-holds-barred, rampaging introduction to a band that was ready to take over the world! Check out the video, which includes a guest appearance from non-other than Motörhead’s Lemmy Kilmister.

"Too Much, Too Young, Too Fast"

"Too Much, Too Young, Too Fast" takes a classic rock approach, and gives a big nod towards fellow Aussie rockers AC/DC. Considered by fans as their signature song, throw up the devil horns and scream along!

"No Way But the Hard Way"

The lead single of second album No Guts. No Glory., "No Way But the Hard Way" is the sort of fist pumping, epic anthem every awesome rock show needs. Directed by Sum 41 drummer Steve Jocz, the video sees Airbourne tearing it up and starting a riot!

"Breakin' Outta Hell"

Airbourne go full throttle on "Breakin' Outta Hell" which sees Joel O’Keeffe deliver both his best screeching vocals and a blistering lead riff. No wonder it smashed into the Top 10 in 5 countries including here in the U.K., and the Top 40 in a further 7!
