The Jesus and Mary Chain

The cult band showcases new album Glasgow Eyes with unmissable headline dates

Darlings of the shoegaze and noise-rock scene, The Jesus and Mary Chain exploded out of East Kilbride in the late 80s. Led by brothers Jim and William Reid, the uncompromising band achieved commercial success on their own terms, releasing gold-selling records Psychocandy and Top 10 entry Darklands. The subsequent decades saw them continue to experiment across four more LPs, dabbling in electronica before disbanding in 1999.

The Jesus and Mary Chain reformed in 2007 much to the delight of the dedicated fanbase but didn’t release their comeback record Damage and Joy until ten years later.

The Scottish noiseniks are back with a brand-new record titled Glasgow Eyes. See The Jesus and Mary Chain unveil their new material and place classic tracks when they burst ear drums at iconic venues Barrowland and Rock City later this year.
