Melts – “Outlier”

Continuing their promising early start, Irish post punks Melts now release trippy new single “Outlier” which takes its name from the scientific term to measure between objects in space.

The title refers to an object or person existing at a distance from the centre of the system.

“Outlier” will appear on the Dublin five-piece’s debut album Maelstrom. Produced by Daniel Fox of Gilla Band; their eagerly awaited first album will be taken on the road next month – ticket for Melts tour on sale with Gigantic.

Ghost – “Call Me Little Sunshine”

Swedish shock rockers Ghost have announced their next album Impera will be released on March 11 on Loma Vista Recordings. Including is the single “Call Me Little Sunshine”, which features new frontman Papa Emeritus IV who prepares to take centre stage in Spring.

Over the course of IMPERA’s 12-song cycle, empires rise and fall, would-be messiahs ply their hype (financial and spiritual alike), prophecies are foretold as the skies fill with celestial bodies divine and man-made…
