Lambrini Girls announce No Refunds and 2027 UK Tour

Last updated: September 2026. Brighton's Lambrini Girls have carved out a reputation in the UK punk scene. Their abrasive blend of punk, grunge and post-punk, coupled with razor-sharp social commentary and a wicked sense of humour, has established them as one of the most uncompromising bands around. Now, following the success of their UK Top 20 debut Who Let The Dogs Out, Phoebe Lunny and Selin Macieira-Boşgelmez are gearing up for the release of their darker, more urgent second album No Refunds this January. With a major UK and European tour lined up for 2027, the duo are ready to bring their incendiary live show to stages across the UK.

Punk, protest & Lambrini: From Brighton basements to the world

Lambrini Girls' story begins in Brighton, where the band initially began as a four-piece in 2019. Lunny and Macieira-Boşgelmez met whilst working at a bar, and discovered that they have shared frustrations about the corporate and 'lad' culture within the music scene. After bonding, the band experienced some line-up changes, and settled on Lunny taking over lead vocals, and Macieira-Boşgelmez on the bass. 

2021 saw the arrival of their independently-released debut single, "Homewrecker", a blistering introduction to the girls' rage and wit, with lyrical content tackling rampant misogyny. An explosive last-minute fill-in set at The Great Escape Festival caught the attention of independent label, Big Scary Monsters, who signed them in November 2022.

Nobody can say that the band don't work hard. After playing over 100 live shows in 2023, including sets at huge festivals such as Glastonbury and Reading and Leeds, Lambrini Girls cemented themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the UK punk scene. Their frenetic, crowd-surfing live shows earned praise and endorsement from the "Godfather of Punk" himself, Iggy Pop, calling them "his new favourite band". 

After supporting punk heavyweights IDLES and Amyl and The Sniffers in 2024, more and more heads began to turn. 2025's highly-anticipated debut album, Who Let The Dogs Out hit no.16 in the UK Albums Chart, solidifying their mainstream crossover whilst maintaining their anti-establishment political ethos and fierce, fearless arttitude. 

Now, after the band were very briefly sidelined following Lunny's neck fracture and brain injury, Lambrini Girls show no sign of slowing down. Their upcoming record, No Refunds, is set for release in January 2027, preceded by the lead single, "Bang Bang Bang". 

About the Upcoming Lambrini Girls Shows

To promote their upcoming album, No Refunds, the girls will be hitting the road in March 2027.

The No Refunds Tour will see them bring their anarchic shows to Cambridge, Bristol and Manchester, with support acts yet to be announced. Previous support for Lambrini Girls have come from other feminist punk bands such as Alien Chicks and M(h)aol, meaning that any Lambrini Girls show is a perfect gig for any punk fan. 

For fans both old and new, these shows will see the band take on new heights as they continue to prove that they are here to stay, and a refreshing voice in the UK punk scene.

Upcoming Album: No Refunds

Hoping to build on the success of Who Let The Dogs Out, Lambrini Girls' upcoming sophomore album, No Refunds, will be landing on the airwaves on Friday 15th January 2027. 

Lunny and Macieira-Boşgelmez, in their own words, have said the world has "got even worse", making this record undeniably more urgent in a time that feels tempestuous. No Refunds is a darker progression from Who Let The Dogs Out, and tackles the catalogue of modern horrors such as fascism, genocide, the 'manosphere', the rise of artificial intelligence and reproductive rights — just to name a few. 

The duo will be drawing on the same sonic threads as their previous material, whislt continuing to push their sound into more explosive, experimental territory. Think industrial, hard-hitting punk with tender moments of vulnerability, and pop-lite immediacy with jagged basslines. 

The first glimpse into the world of No Refunds was "Cult of Celebrity", an offering which arrived earlier this year. This punchy, two-minute track is a seething attack on the wealthy elite, and the dark underbelly of the 1%. In the typical Lambrini Girls style that we know and love, it is delivered with a biting, scathing edge.

Lambrini Girls Live: What to Expect

Lambrini Girls' live shows are not to be underestimated — they are loud, energetic, and sweaty, but with an emphasis on community and catharsis. 

Despite the band being a duo, there is a significant wall of noise. Lunny's intense delivery is met by the crowd, who participate in the gig just as much as the band do. A typical Lambrini Girls gig will involve Lunny heading into the crowd, whether that is crowdsurfing, diving off of balconies, or performing in the middle of the circle pit. Incredibly interactive, Lunny often leads chants, hands her microphone to gig-goers, and even leads "meditiation" practices during the show. 

Amid the rage, there is also a deep sense of humour. Lunny will often improvise introductions, create crowd challenges and formations, and not taking herself too seriously. The sense of community is fostered by Lunny's rallying cry for audiences to look out for people in the pit, picking them up if they fall, and encouraging their audience to speak out to security or the band themselves if they feel unsafe.
