Mostly Autumn are prog rock extraordinaires. Drawing on Celtic imagery and themes, the band backs folk music with hard rock guitars, emotional melodies and dreamlike words. The bands guitars wail through lavish keyboard and epic drum beats, emphasising the dramatic echoing vocals.
Having never singed to a major label, the band have forged their own path releasing their own material through their own independent label instead.
Their current line-up includes drummer Chris Walton, vocalist Heidi Widdop, Iain Jennings on keys, violin player Bob Faulds, Kev Gibbons providing whistles and bassist Alun Hughes who are all led by vocalist and guitarist Bryan Josh.
Started 1995, the band emerged following the demise of the cover band One Stoned Snowman who specialised in the songs of Pink Floyd plus other similar seventies hits.
Since then Mostly Autumn have amassed an impressive back catalogue which includes eleven studio albums, thirteen live albums as well as whole host of singles, EPs and anthologies.
