Mark Guiliana is ‘possibly the best drummer in the world’ (Time Out), as well as an acclaimed composer, educator, producer and founder of Beat Music Productions. In 2014 he released both My Life Starts Now and Beat Music: The Los Angeles Improvisations.
2015 sees Beat Music come to London �” a band touting entrancing beat music driven by Mark’s sample-laden, icy drum grooves.
Renowned for his forward-thinking, conceptual approach, 2014 also saw him featured on Mehliana: Taming the Dragon, his duo project with Brad Mehldau on keyboards and synthesizers, as well as David Bowie’s latest single, Sue (Or in a Season of Crime).
With a decade of touring across 6 continents with some of the most innovative jazz artists (Meshell Ndegeocello, Gretchen Parlato, Dhafer Youssef and Bobby McFerrin) we are delighted to welcome Mark and his band to London.
