Mama Terra is a jazz fusion project led by British drummer Jas Kayser, blending elements of jazz, Afrobeat, and world music. Based in London, the group is known for its intricate rhythms and vibrant soundscapes. Their debut album, Mama Terra (2022), features standout tracks like "Stargaze" and "5ive." Mama Terra has performed at notable venues such as Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club and Love Supreme Jazz Festival. With a fresh and dynamic approach to modern jazz, Jas Kayser and her ensemble have supported artists like Nubiyan Twist on tour, making a significant mark on the jazz scene.
